About Eve:

Eve Lewis was born in East Sussex, UK. She originally trained in gymnastics before falling in love with dance at the age of 10 and deciding to pursue her dream of becoming a dancer. She began vocational training in 2022 at the School of Ballet Theatre UK (BTUK), completing a BA(Hons) Degree in Ballet Performance.

Training at BTUK gave her the incredible opportunity to begin building her repertoire, including:

  • Swan Lake - Big Swans, Hungarian Princess, Swan Corps de Ballet

  • Rhapsody in Blue (inspired by G.Balanchine) - Pas de Deux Soloist

  • Coppelia - Working Hours, Doll

  • Awakening of Flora, Hebe soloist

Eve also toured with Ballet Theatre UK company in 2024, performing The Nutcracker in thirty-three National shows allowing her to experience being part of a professional company and perform in roles such as the Housekeeper, Snow corps, Sugar corps, Candy Canes (mirlitons), and Flower corps.

​Eve is an incredibly hard-working and versatile performer with extensive knowledge and experience across a multitude of dance genres. Also, having had opportunities within contemporary and jazz, working with practitioners such as Dr Ross McKim in development classes to create the new ISTD contemporary syllabus, as well as Darla Hoover, Jonathon Chmelensky and Eileih Muir when she attended the Royal Danish Ballet Summer Intensive, absorbing knowledge given to her on different styles taught across the world.

 

Eve is a diligent and adaptable dancer, consistently giving 100% in rehearsals and performances with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset enabling her to collaborate effectively with others as well as effectively step into understudy roles to an incredibly high standard even when asked on short notice.​ She is a consistent, performer with a strong work ethic and a passion for collaboration. She takes pride in building a stage presence that leaves a lasting impression on audiences not just due to her physicality but also her artistry: both in which she continues to develop with each new interaction she has within the industry, forever adapting as an artist.
